People love to share interesting emails with their friends. Don’t you. But all they do a most common mistake. All the those at the receiving end easily see other email id those of common friends and many stranger ids.

Here comes my work. You can extract all these emails and grow our friend list rapidly in facebook, twitter, orkut, or can invite them to take a glance on your website.
There is no perfect software to catch these contacts automatically.

Steps to extract:
1. Go to you inbox > open the desired mail
2. In gmail click on the show details option (see picture)
3. Press and hold control key and select all emails and names that are showing up
4. Open a new text document and paste their from clip board.
5. Add this line in the 1st line of newly created text file:

name,E-mail 1 – Type,E-mail 1 – Value

6. Perform a replace action (ctrl+H)
Replace “7. Save file as something.csv (chose all file types)

And you are done. Your file is ready to upload to your email address book/facebook/outlook or to any other application.

This trick can also be performed for converting .txt contacts files (extracted from any other source) to .csv contact files.

To save your friends to being spammed like this way use the BCC option while sending emails to many people and ask them to do so.

Update:
Extracting email ids from embedded forwarded mail.
1.Press and hold control key and select all emails and names that are showing up inside the mail.
2.Open a new word document and paste from clip board.
3.Go to edit > find >
enter in find field “,”
replace with “^|” (click on more drop down menu > special > manual line break)
4.Replace all “5.Replace all “>” with “,”
6.copy the whole text from the word file to a new text document
7.Add this line in the 1st line of newly created text file:

name,E-mail 1 – Type,E-mail 1 – Value
8.Save file as something.csv (chose all file types).

Orkut developers deleting scraps that contains rich contents. Yes that’s true. So sending style font scraps, photos and videos to your friends is worthless.

I used to send birthday wishes to my friends via scraps. For this I was using a ready-made HTML script containing text, image, flash file and link to my blog at the footer.

But since last one or two months I didn’t get a single “thank you scrap”. Astonished by the result I started checking there scrap book , I found my scraps was not there.

I stared searching orkut help forum and found that other users also facing the same problem. The scraps are automatically get deleted and goes to your spam folder. From the spam folder you can mark it “not spam” so that the scrap can be restored or you may “delete” it permanently. This also applies to community posts also and the rich text threads can be found in community spam folder.

Although it is a good idea as it protects and keeps you orkut profile clean, but bad also as we can’t have more fun.

As orkut developers change the code of orkut site, now you are not able to save photos of your friends. But not to worry as I am here; The simple firefox trick can do the magic.

The new code is good to protect your own photos. No body can download them and can’t miss use them as mentioned before.
But this makes headache if you want to download your college photos, birthday party photos from your friends album and reload to your album. (headache for evil purpose also)

To save orkut album photos you must have to use firefox browser.
In firefox login to orkut and go to the the desired photo page which you want to download.
In firefox menu bar (see photo) select Tools >> select Page Info >> select Media >> scroll Up/Down to get protected photos address >> select save as >> you are done , the image will be saved in your computer.

UPDATE:: Just drag and drop the photos to your desktop and to save orkut album photos to your hard disc ( works on both internet explorer and firefox and other browsers )

Gmail is the most favorite webmail service. The best feature of its is labels. Now Gmail have New ways to label with “Move to” and auto-complete options.

Many of the users don’t know the use of labels. Labels do all the work folders do and give you an extra bonus: you can add more than one to a conversation. Once you’ve created a label, you can view all the messages with that label by searching, or by clicking the label name along the left side of any Gmail page.
Now Labeling goes better by adding a option move to in the gmail folders as you can see in the image. Now you can get the wordpress self hosting (wordpress.org) blog without paying neither for hosting nor for domain.

The free version of wordpress blog (wordpress.com) has limited function, that you can’t custom the blog template according to your need nor you can’t install adsense ad codes to get some bucks.
The full potential of wordpress can be utilized by downloading the software from wordpress.org and installing it in your server. But most of the server will suck you.
So I recommend you to go for zymic.com which is totally free and have sufficient disc space and bandwidth to meet your demands. And also it is better than 110mb.com as in 110mb you can’t opt in for MySQL.
Follow the steps below:-
Step1: Go to CO.CC and regisster a free domain like yourname.co.cc or you can purchase a TLD like yourname.com or you can chose the free domain by zymic like yourname.uuuq.net
Step2: Register with Zymic.com
Step3: Down load the latest version of word press from wordpress.org
Step4: Create a SQL database , user and password in zymic control panel (under MySQL Database Management )
Step5: Extract the wordpress .zip file and then rename the file wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php .
Step6: Open the file wp-config.php in notepad.
Step7: Edit the 4 marked places with your MySQL database details.
Step8: Save the file wp-config.php .
Step9: Rename the entire wordpress folder to public_html.
Step10: Delete the entire public_html folder inside zymic hosting space.
Step11: Upload The public_html folder from your desktop to zymic hosting space by using filezilla software.
Step12: Now open the file http://your-site-address.com/wp-admin/install.php to set up your username and password for your self hosted wordpress blog.

Now your emails are hosted at the URL like your_blog_address.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default . Copy This address to clip board.

Getting Orkut scraps as SMS:
Step 1 :To get scraps as SMS , first we have to covert our scrap into web feeds. To do this we need help of the website orkutfeeds.com by rahul bansal.

The feed URL of your scrap book will be like this

Replace the value after uid%3D with your orkut userID ( what is userID ? Login to your orkut account and click on your profile itself. You will get your orkut id on the address bar. Like http://www.orkut.com/Profile.aspx?uid=7722318294737682090 in my case. So 7722318294737682090 is my unique userID )

Copy your scrap feed URL to clip board.

The Final Step (Step 2 ) :You have to register for an account in mytoday.com

You will receive your password immediately

Now go to mytoday.com and log in with your mobile number and password

Limitations:

• Scraps/emails sent to you via sms are 5-6 hours late.
• The word limit is 71. So you wont get to read the full scrap/email if it exceeds 71 words.
• This hack wont work if your scrapbook is locked or blog set as private.

• This whole trick/process is for Indian cell users only.
• If You are using email services which don’t provide ( hotmail/live mail, zapak, rediff, indiatimes ) mail forwarding option ; you can’t read them in your mobile.
• The emails that you are auto forwarding to blogger.com must be less than 10 MB in size.

Yesterday when I was trying google advanced search to get “.swf” extension files, got to see that the page has a new look with new search options like date , usage rights and more. The advanced search page has beta like appearance which shows your search terms as complete search operator list. Comments play important role in blogging. Comments motivate the author for writing more articles . If an article gets more number of quality comments it would be attracted by visitors.

As you know it was very unsafe to upload your original photos to orkut as they were not right click protected , any one your enemy or else could save these images to there hard drive and misuse by publishing these photos to any where or creating a fake account which might look like your profile or by any other way which was making a lot of headache for you .But now they [developers] find the solution .

Now when the evil will try ” right click then save image as ” he/she find a image file has been stored in his hard drive named as ” b ” and yes it is a blank file .So she/he can’t misuse your photos.so friends ( especially girls ) grab your mobile phone capture your lovely photos and upload these to orkut. shake the boys with no tension.

When some one left without signing out from his/her mail box , you can receive his /her mails in your mail box & send emails to his/her friends/others as if he/ she sent that email for life time.
yaa that’s true. by using the services provided by gmail u can do this….

process 1: how to receive his emails afterwards
if he/she uses gmail:
go to setting >> forwarding & POP >> check forwarding option >> enter your email id>> save settings, thats all . you will receive emails in your in box that are sent to his/her id
if he/she use yahoo mail:
go to options [right up corner]>> check forwarding box >> enter your email id click save>> go to your in box >> check mail>> click on confirmation email. thats all.you will receive emails in your in box that are sent to his/her id

process2: how to send emails by his/her email address
go to your gmail>> go to settings>> click on the accounts tab>> click add another email >> enter his email id>> go to his/her inbox >> check in box >> click confirmation link
now you can send emails using his/her id from your email , go to compose mail toggle between your id and his her id i.e. you can send emails as his/her id

process3: copying his her contacts to your contacts
if he/she uses gmail:
go to contacts of his email >> click export>> go to your gmail id>> go to contacts click import. thats all
if he/she use yahoo mail:
go to contacts >> click export> then in your contacts click import

Thats all. now u can send receve emails as that fellow do

How to keep your self safe from others applying these tricks on you
